UPDATE: April 20th 2020
The Durham Rape Crisis Centre is committed to the ongoing support for survivors of sexual violence in our community. We understand that during stressful times there is additional need for supports so we’ve responded. We now offer different groups for our clients on an almost daily basis, please see our calendar for more info. And our Crisis and Support line continues to be fully staffed by trained volunteers 24/7, (call 905 668-9200). Our Intake is also still open and we are working with our clients to meet their needs depending on their circumstances, allowing clients to select appointments via phone, Zoom (secure online video), or to defer for an in-person session. To begin the intake process for counselling services contact Michaela at firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information about how our organization is working now please contact email@example.com.
