SUMMARY:Healing Horses
DESCRIPTION:This is a FREE workshop for survivors of sexual violence who would like the opportunity for healing by connecting with horses.  Through this workshop\, horses will teach you skills that will encourage balance and inspire new life directions. It is an opportunity to remind you how wonderful it can be to connect\, trust\, be seen\, heard and valued. \nNo previous experience with horses is required.  We will not be riding horses.  We will be grooming and walking horses as well as leading them through an obstacle course. \nYou can bring a support person.  Two DRCC staff will be there for support. \nWe will be meeting at DRCC and taking a bus together to Audley Road Stables (Herd Dynamics) in Ajax. \nPlease note that this event is full.  We will be holding another event in the fall. \nIf interested in the fall event please contact Jackie at jackie@drcc.ca or call 905 444-9672 ext. 22 \nWe would like to thank the 100 Women Who Care Clarington for without their donation this workshop would not be possible.
