CANCELLED – Mindfulness Meditation Workshop

CANCELLED Overview: Instruction will be offered on Shamatha meditation (Shamatha is a Tibetan word meaning "peacefully abiding"), with the opportunity to practice in a group setting. Participants of all skill levels (beginner to expert) are welcome. Instruction will address the impact of trauma on our internal worlds, and will be presented as a tool to re-connect, ground and begin to make friends with our bodies and ourselves. Volunteer Training

Women over the age of 18 are invited to participate in our Volunteer Crisis Line Training Program. The program runs for 10 consecutive weeks and volunteers who successfully complete the volunteer Crisis Line training program have the opportunity to volunteer their services on our 24/7 Crisis Line, assist with groups, public education and accompaniment. This training is currently underway.  Our next training will be scheduled in the spring.
